Furthermore, we need to also examine reasons countries adopt one religion as State religion, which are clearly based on fears of foreign influence through citizens' religious inductrination against nation's cultural heritage and foreign control through religious influence. However, Nigeria do not have any of such peculiarities in our precolonial independence era. Jeremiah Awolowo a Christian & traditionalist and chief Festus Omimi Okotie-eboh a traditionalist and etc.
