Truth, as I often define it; it is an existence of reality.
Truth is Power, Truth is justice, Truth is love, Truth is God.
Truth also in the context of Christ's sermon on the mount; "love thy neighbor as thyself"; if put into practice by all nations, all races, and all people of the world; assuredly, the world will be a better place.
During the era of the Greatest Britton of Wilson Churchill and Mahatma Gandhi of the Greatest Indian epic rivalry in history. Between These two; Gandhi, Truth was love and God. While Wilson Churchill, hatred, might and dominion were Truth. In other words, there were a battle of rivalry between two titans on supreme human ideologies.
In 1945, Mrs Vijayalakshmi Pandit, a well known Sister of PT Jawaharlal Nehru attended the first session of the United Nations Assembly as the head of the Indian delegation in London. Churchill who was by her side, suddenly remarked to her; did we not kill your husband? Didn't we ? Churchill was actually referring to the death of her husband who died while in jail.
Mrs Vijayalakshmi Pandit was taken aback, but unknowingly to Churchill, Gandhi had taught all his followers "to hate the sin and not the sinner". In other words, Gandhi and his followers never saw Churchill as a sin, rather, they saw Churchill and Britain as sinners that needed repentance. And base on that premise, Mrs Pandit responded; " no, everyone lives up to his appointed hour".
Churchill, being shocked with such superior knowledge from Mrs Pandit, both became friends. And that made Churchill to respond; your brother Jawaharial Nehru "has conquered men's two worst enemies; hate and fear." Which is supremely civilized approach between man and his social environment. Though, missing from today's climate.
On July 26, 1945, the British voters voted their greatest leader of all time, Wilson Churchill out of power for the labour party who granted India and Pakistan freedom to selves rules as independent nations on August 14 - 15 of 1947.
Yes, with truth they conquered their world.
Assuredly, no matter how long it takes; truth remains the most Powerful weapon of all time to all Conquest.
In all things, remained truthful and always be steadfast on the side of truth.
