KEYNOTES: Poverty And Its Direct Consequences On The 3rd World, Social Deprivation & Non - Social Freedom, Africa & India As The Case Study And The Future Of Nigeria & Africa Lie On Digital Technological Innovations. Poverty is a lack of economic resources with vicious consequences on individual and socialization values of a larger society.
0.2: DIRECT CONSEQUENCES OF POVERTY ON THE 3RD WORLD:
"Being Born In Slippery Sloppery Area Was Never A Limit" I was born to rise above my slippery sloppery ground and I never see it as a limit. I was fortunate to walk through the slippery sloppery ground and some never did. "How are you ?" Fine, fine. Ehen, What was the meaning of that gift even, if I may ask. " It's just a 'white teddy bear' or don't you like it ? Oh, I though you will like it. Girls especially those in school like you like it a lot; they put it on their bedside and I thought you will like it as well as you are about to go back to school. Or do you have any religious or superstitious belief towards it ?"
No, I like it, it's amazing but it just that you will not understand; I grew up as a kid right here in this place and I never had anything like teddies, kiddies toys none the privileges of playing in playgrounds and somehow I do not just used to them and I don't even know their values anymore. But it's fine and thanks a lot. "Hmm ... You're welcome." "You look pure and untainted." My slippery sloppery ground never remove my confidence to fight for life; so I conquered and soar higher. "I dreamt a dream and in the dream you appeared to me like a white rabbit in midst of so many dirty rats. I noticed you were different from the others you were together with in that dirty slump. You were moving towards me specifically out of the other people that were around with good intention. Someone said; it is you the white rabbit is coming to meet, I said I know. Some how the slump made it difficult for you to meet me and I decided to reach out to you with the intention to lift you out but you became so scared that you ran back into your comfort place right there in the slump. Why you were so scared I do not know. Somehow I began to get worried that this white rabbit that was coming to me for help I could not help. Moreover, I still found out that the white rabbit was also bringing along some good things and they all got stopped as well in the process. Surprisingly, it refused to go and meet someone else. And having noticed that I attempted to go out there to meet the white rabbit at its comfort place but it became more scared, jittery and screaming as if I wanted to hot it. At that point a voice of caution came to me that if I truly want that rabbit let it come to me on its own volution, else, I will loose it."
Well, I might be a white rabbit in midst of tough looking dirty rats as claimed but you do not know me and the grace upon me; 'I am favoured over labour.'

Hmm ... I was born here, right here in this very place my placenta was buried and upon this 3rd World I live.
Yes, growing up from this 3rd world had never stopped me. That is why I lived to shine, rise higher and soar higher above the slump. Slippery, sloppery though but cannot hold me.
Yes right here I was born, suckled as an infant, grew a Kidd, attended kindergarten, primary school, secondary, university, law school and called to the prestigious Nigerian legal bar to become a barrister among every other around the World that had embraced the noble profession. Unto this floor was my sleeping bed, on morning hours mama always woke me up and prepared me for school. Yeah, out there was our school compound and still stalked in my brain as I can still remember; the kiddies play, the 'jaggolover', the dance around and the 'tête-à-tête' plays.
When I walked through the suburb and the ghetto area of Lagos in the course of my investigative legal practice as a practicing lawyer in the most populated city in Africa and the sixth most populated city in the World; I see the youth, boys and girls with sagging panties, nose burst open with earring, head dyed, smoking cannabis while hanging around and some are blocking roads with their monkey's post street football'. I do remind myself in most often time I encountered them on my way; these youths are my mates and some might probably be older than me. Come to think of it, survey had shown that the wide spread criminality and the persistent youth devices that are rampant today in our society are all indexes to lack of proper foundation to children upbringing. Yes, it is obvious that a whole lot to youth social devices boil down to frustration from unsuccessful fight from the bottom pit level. We all pass through this 'fight from bottom pit level' and some of us just have to remain focused and fortunate that we remained alive. Else, it is really much more easier to get derailed out of your focused steps back into the very pitiable peaty bottom pit than to climb up to the top.
0.3: SOCIAL DEPRIVATION & NON -SOCIAL FREEDOM
The ideological issue here is that non-proper foundation leads to a long time poverty and if no special intervention takes place it becomes a lifetime issue and that leads to social deprivation & non-social freedom.
Living out of poverty order is not just when people have food to eat, clothes to wear, and having shelter. No; economic problems lead to a deterioration of social relations and participation. Being poor is also about the psychology of not being able to partake in societal equality of life in relations with others; and therefore in the long run being excluded by fellow citizens or withdrawing from social and civic life matters because of a lack of economic resources; typically in combination with the concomitant shame of not being able to live a life like others. Cumulating into a life of self - denials and non-social freedom.
The natural interrelation of poverty to other social freedom of life is central to the social exclusion activism of individual, group, society and a country which puts poverty in a larger perspective of multiple disadvantages of citizens always thread a downward interrelationships to growth.
The inability to live a 'normal social life' may in its perspective erode social freedom to social networks, social relations, and social participation, potentially setting off a downward spiral movement to self isolation, self misfortune and reinforcing disadvantages in several domains of life. These perspectives on poverty and social exclusion are essentially sociological. The playing field of the private economy is social and it is ultimately about individuals’ relations with other people not only primary social relations with kin and friends but extends to secondary relation's participation in the wider community; such as in organizations and in political life.
0.4: WORLD BANK 2014 - 2018 POVERTY INDEX REPORT ON NIGERIA:
Nigeria had one of the world's highest economic growth rates, averaging 7.4% according to the Nigeria economic report released in July 2014 by the World Bank. Following the oil price collapse in 2014–2016, combined with negative production shocks, the gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate dropped to 2.7% due to incessant attacks on the oil wells in latter part of 2015 by the Niger Delta Avengers. And in 2016 as a result Nigeria got into its first recession in 25 years, the economy contracted by 1.6%.
Poverty remains significant at 33.1% in Africa's biggest economy. For a country with massive wealth and a huge population to support commerce, a well developing economy, and plenty of natural resources such as oil, iron & ore, bitumen, coal, plenty of agricultural products and enormous human natural resources etc. The level of poverty remains unacceptable.
However, poverty may have been overestimated due to the lack of information on the extremely huge informal sector of the economy, estimated at around 60% and more of the current GDP figures. At ass of 2018, Population growth rate has grown higher than economic growth rate; leading to a slow rise in poverty. According to a 2018 report by the World Bank, almost half the population is living below the international poverty line of $2 per day, and unemployment peaked at
23.1%.
0.5: WHAT INDIA DID RIGHT AND THE WAY FORWARD FOR NIGERIA AND AFRICA AT LARGE
The long-term growth perspective of the Indian economy remains positive due to its young population and the government corresponding economic and policy investment on broad program of economic liberalisation enabling the youth to strive, healthy savings, increase in domestic & global investment ratio and increasing integration into the global economy. Since the start of the 21st century, India annual average GDP growth has been 6% to 7% but from 2014 to 2018, India has been the world's fastest growing major economy, surpassing China. With 520-million-work force, the Indian labour market is the world's second-largest as of 2019. India has one of the world's highest number of billionaires with extreme income inequality. Since India has a vast informal economy, barely 2% of Indians pay income taxes but the government income tax dragnet still on the rise due to increase in volume revenue generation from the 2% income taxpayers and high level of income generation from tax on private and domestic investments. Nearly 60% of India's GDP is driven by domestic private consumption and continues to remain the world's sixth-largest consumer market. In 2018, India was the world's tenth-largest importer and the nineteenth-largest exporter. It ranks 63rd on ease of doing business index and 68th on Global Competitiveness Report. The economy of India is characterised as a developing market economy. It is the world's fifth-largest economy by nominal GDP and the third-largest by purchasing power parity (PPP). According to the IMF on a per capita income basis, India ranked 139th by GDP (nominal) and 118th by GDP (PPP) in 2018. India boast of billionaires of average age of 20s - 30s which is the right way to go for a growing economy.
0.6: THE FUTURE OF NIGERIAN AND AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT LIE ON DIGITAL TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION
It is shown that the contemporary view of development in Africa represents a numerical analogue developers movement which needs a shift to a perspective of an actual experienced successful digital & technological innovative minded developers to one defined through the prism of some assumed universal norms. Focusing on one policy framework as "Africa as the future for Africa and the key to that future is the African youth ”. Yes, a nation whose policies focused on children, youth and families get a fairly direct reflection of its economic, social, and political structure on a balanced growth. Economic, social, and political beliefs are translated into assumptions about the ideal relations of society to the family and to the individual. The industrial and developed countries with their relatively high standard of living face an entirely different set of circumstances from those confronting the third World countries where resources are often grossly unevenly distributed; malnutrition is often endemic, childhood disease rife and infection ratio are almost 0.1% always in densely populated area by the poor.
India had just been taken over by Nigeria as the World headquarter of the poor according to the 2018 World Bank poverty index report. A country whose Population is triple times of Nigeria.
0.7: AFRICA IS NOW THE HOME OF EXTREME POVERTY IN TODAY’s WORLD
According to our projections, Nigeria has already overtaken India as the country with the largest number of extreme poor in early 2018, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo could soon take over the number 2 spot (Figure 1 below). At the end of May 2018, our trajectories suggest that Nigeria had about 87 million people in extreme poverty, compared with India’s 73 million. What is more, extreme poverty in Nigeria is growing by six people every minute, while poverty in India continues to fall. In fact, by the end of 2018 in Africa as a whole, there will probably be about 3.2 million more people living in extreme poverty than there are today. Already, Africans account for about two - thirds of the world’s extreme poor. If current trends persist, they will account for nine - tenths by 2030. Fourteen out of 18 countries in the world where the number of extreme poor is rising are in Africa.

What this means is that as poverty projections towards 2030 for third World countries indexes continued to indicate, uneven outcomes are likely to occur as projections are based on countries growing in line with past growth rates (the regional average over the last ten years), extreme poverty in India and Bangladesh approaches zero by 2030 but extreme poverty in Nigeria, DRC, and Ethiopia remains quite elevated.
We must focus on the wellbeing of our children and our youth for they hold the key to the future.
We must resonate technological, innovative and digital programs that evolved round the youth.
When Nigeria and Africa become serious then they must fix the issue of electricity supply epileptic with a matter of urgency for almost the total output of a nation's youth lies on power supply if we are to take the issue of technological innovations seriously as the way forward.
