The duo of Luka Modric and Kylian Mbappe came to the Russian 2018 World Cup with different pedigrees.
While one the Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric came to the tournament and soar high to the final with a wealth of experience, age, buddle of skills as a midfield general and the other, the 19 years old France and Paris Saint Germaine forward Kylian Mbappe came to the final of the tournament with his own stamp of youthful energy, dribbling, quickness, speed and his clinical finishing.
Both players represent different things to their different teams but with equal purposes to their different teams.
The Real Madrid star was the driving force of the Croatian Vatreni side that surpassed all expectations by making it to the final of the competition.
Well as the World stood still for 32 days to watch what these phenomenons represent in the everyday life hassles in the life of man's journey, at the end the final had to decide and it decided on the favour of the one that came with the skills and the youthful energy.
Yes, we all love this game called football or soccer and we all play it together with all intensities of life as a game of our life either directly as a footballer or as a viewer. And to all of us as participants of the game what moral lesson did we gain from what this Russian 2018 final presented to us as individuals or as a team in the journey of life?
Well, as for me the tournament had come and gone but the lessons to be learned remain in part of our everyday life. And the one among the so many is the fact that while experience remains a very big player in the road to life success, we as well need the energy to run through to success even much more.
As the elasticity of our years demands on the law of diminishing returns so also our impute equates our output.
In life there is time for everything; there is time for what the young can do better with their energy at ease and there is time for what the old can do with their experience at ease but not one of these in exchange for the other at no circumstances of life and that is how we all live as humans and that is the biggest lesson of this just concluded Russian 2018.
