A defense lawyer for Nicki Minaj's brother tried to poke holes in the narrative of his 13-year-old former stepdaughter on Tuesday, accusing the girl in cross examination of lying about being raped as part of a multimillion-dollar extortion plot.
The accuser, who spoke at length about the sexual abuse she had allegedly endured at the hands of 38-year-old Jelani Maraj when she was just 11 years old, kept her cool under pressure and pushed back against attorney David Schwartz’s assertion that she was lying.
